Is there a way to change the colour if the progress bar in a VS relatively easily (I dont have stylebuilder and my trial is expired). Is there any other way?
And I do have the shellstyle.dll.

Haxor time.
And not that I know of. You would need to edit the skin file with a third party program, and the only one that I know of is StyleBuilder (I'm sure there are many many others however.)
Ok I got style builder working ( :naughty: ) but I realized I need the shell32 which I dont actually have. Anyone know where to get it?
if you cant have stylebuilder working , try reshacker .
And what shell32 ? There are many versions.

I'm pretty sure Windows would crash and burn without Shell32.dll
What I mean is the themes DLL file. I made that post waaay too late last night so it was probably pretty confusing.
It is the shellstyle.dll.
ProgressChunk.bmp
ProgressChunkVert.bmp
Just open reshacker, change the BMPs, save, replace. Both should be in the main msstyle file.

Juno you mean the shellstyle.dll?
If not then I have no clue what your talking about!
Doesn't the shellstyle file only really deal with that damned sidebar in Windows Explorer?
The average progress bar BMP (the one that you see when files in your browser are loading, and such) wouldn't be in there.
The loading AVIs are in Shell32.dll if you're talking about the one for system dialog boxes.

Yes thanks for clearing those up! ![]()
Now I'll wait for Juno's head to clear up and see if I was any help to him.
Ahh yes, that did the trick. Cant believe I didnt look there! THanks.
