Japanese Invent Invisibility Cloak

What do you mean see here? If I can see it, then it's not working. I wish his coat was more Aqua-Blue and had the proper Z-order with the background. Maybe a button that would quick hide. Obviously it is still in beta and not perfected.

well, they might allow people to make backgrounds/colors for it, to suite each person's tastes

and you could also drag buttons off the jacket to make them "poof"

...or maybe we should just stick to docks :D

I think they need to turn up the transparency - and maybe start with something other than bright green. They should hire Yz. - lol

This 'cloak' was idea was mentioned about a year ago in Popular Science magazine. It stated that the US military was working with a proto type of flexible plasma like material that could be worn as a shirt or a whole outfit, and could be used to disguise military personal when in combat to blend in with their surroundings to be virtually camouflaged.

The rest of the article stated that they have been working with this for quite some time, i.e., several years, and that this technology, once perfected and cheaper to make, will be available for the common user as a 'fun' toy to have around. 'One could wear this shirt and play their favorite movie on it, or while wearing it change colors and images while walking thru the mall'.

But that's just what I read.
