I dont want to get into an ethical argument over this, but these are a specific artists icons. Simple email to him asking if you could convert these would not hurt anyone.

No, nobody had permission from elppa, but it's an entirely different issue.

We support the rights of artists in this community, and you are blatantly ripping an artist off without his permission.
