I'm hoping to get a Mac IE 5.2 looking download manager on my IE. is there any skins for existing download managers that can do this?
Something like the Mozilla download manager, but for IE. Thanks.

IE doesn't have a download manager built in (like the Mozilla products.) So you don't need a skin for IE but for a 3rd party application (like GetRight.) So, could you tell us which one you use?
The advantage to mozilla is that when you apply a skin it will apply itself to all of the browser (including the download manager.)
I know full well that IE has no download manager.
Well what i meant to say was that I would like to know if there is a skin, for any of the third party download managers, that would act similar / identically to the IE download manager on mac, if skinned.
why do you want to stick to ie? I switched to firebird / firefox about half a year ago and I didn't think of switching back for one split second since. its faster, secure, blocks pop ups, got mouse-gestures (can't live without them anymore;) ) ...

I am asking you for an IE (THIRD PARTY) Download Manager that is skinnable to look like the one that the Mac IE has. Does not matter what app (ie: DAP, FLASHGET) whatever. As long as it looks similar. Is there such a thing?
lol I know about the other browsers, but i, PERSONALLY prefer IE for MY purposes, which is why I'm asking for IE, and not FireFox. Thanks.

Does it have to be a download manager? Flyakite's SP1 changes the appearance of Internet Explorer's download Dialog. If not, I don't know of anything else.

Seem to be the best 3rd party IE download apps. Both are skinnable and have tons of sites for said skins.
see, what bugs me is this. This type of download manager is way easier to make than DAP for example. I mean its just a blank box with the downloads poping in it, and a progress bar. It has no other functions, and yet this simplest type of application was never made for pc. I mean gecko supported browsers have it built in (netscape, firefox(not sure), and mozilla)
lol that's what makes me so mad. I mean i'm not a programer, but obviously this type of DL manager is easier to make than DAP / FlashGet. It requires no "resume" features, no buttons whatsoever, just a dialogue with the downloads going in it.
PS: could someone point out actual links to skins? - that would be extremely helpful, cuz i couldn't find any.
I believe there is a skin for one of the download managers in the skins section. Take a look and see what you think
personally, I use LeechGet. fantastic download manager. I don't know if its skinnable, but that would certantly be nice
getright has an OSX skin.
