Crazy Apple Lover?

To let you know how crazy I am, I bought an Apple Pro Mouse (White) with only one-button function for my P4 laptop! And later on I wrote a program to simulate right-click function by keeping pressing mouse-button for 0.3 seconds (similiar to OSX) or by holding CAPSLOCK (my program automatically turns it off after right-click function is enabled.) and clicking mouse-button.

Anyone there are as crazy as me? If you need such a mouse simulating program, I'd like to give you.

I wish one day I could have a cheap and beautiful Apple laptop computer running Mac OS with full compatibility of Windows programs. :P

I would like it also. I use an Apple mouse with a utility that lets you use the control button + mouse click for right click functionality, but I'd rather have long click. Please post a link or email to: osmith@thevmgroup.com

Thanks,

Oliver

well, actually the one button mouse is actually one of the down sides of (standard) apple computer. After all, isn't Apple all about being better :) ..and isn't using 2 button mice (now there are as many as 5-6 in many mice) better than using one?

I use my old iMacs keyboard and mouse on my Compaq, but I keep the old ones right next to me, for when I need the full keyboard, or when I need the second button. I just like the look of the mac ones better.

I would also like to have this program. I am currently using the Apple Pro Optical mouse. That would be great for the right click feature.

My Address: clotz2000@yahoo.com

Hi guys!

I've put it here:

http://www.comp.nus.edu.sg/~leilei/iMouse.zip

(Do you mind if I call it "iMouse"?)

Please see "readme.txt" for usage. :)

Could you tell us where to download it? If it works better than mine then I will use it later on. :)

Thanks!

i mouse is a great name

but i'd call it iClick :)

anyways, i think apple didn't go to the step of 2 or + buttons is cuz it makes it harder to use :D

simplicity

ofcourse, i'd prefer 2 mouse and a scroll wheel, no more, no less

I also prefer 2-button mouse with a wheel. But I'd like to use one from Apple someday. :) Their products are too beautiful.
