That is very wierd.

Cyber Woofer does your PC meet it's mininum system requierments?

I've seen mine jitter and hic-up when I'm running lots of app's in the backgroundd but running at 1 frame per second. Try reinstalling it. that is the only solution I could think of.

And CyberWoofer, :bye:

Most likely either your graphics card doesn't support OpenGL hardware acceleration or your card driver has it disabled. Are you using an Inspiron laptop?

Have you tried to change the display mode in the Flurry screensaver settings? There should be three options.

Mine doesn't work either... I have a GForce2 with the latest drivers. Mmmm...I'll checkout my openGL settings.

Without OpenGL acceleration, none of 'em works better'n the others. -_-

make sure your color depth is 32 bit

Still no luck...I'll probably give up.

Man dont just quit. You should see the amount of crappy g-card problems I have been through to play video games (highest FPS possible etc)

MAKE SURE v-sync is off, anti-aliasing is off and that open gl clamp behavior is disabled.

I. I am not using a laptop

2. Yes I have changed the display options

3. Ok the I will re-install it.

4. I do not have HEAPS of background apps running

I had a similar problem. If it is an Nvidia chipset you are using, try doing the following:

I actually found out what the problem was. I uninstalled my NVIDIA drivers, ran a detonator destroyer (one of these programs which clears the registry of all reference to NVIDIA drivers) rebooted and reinstalled the latest drivers.

That sorted it out for me when I was having problems with it.

Destroyer not yey XP supported so I will wait...thanks for the tip though. An alternative 'Flurry' can be found here not as good though but still quite nice!

#167683

what brand vid card od you have? and what vid card is it? who makes the GPU? find those out...because flurry is opengl....

#181316

NVidia GForce2...latest drivers...32bit colour setting. Still no luck...grrr!

#181810

xxp default drivers are not opengl friendly.

I have an GeForce 4 Ti 4200 and i run p e r f e c t l y (recently formated but befor my format i was not running it as wall , but i worked well as screensaver) as Wallpaper (Vital-Desktop).

I used the latest detonator to get it work

It's finally working at last...I dunno why...may have been the change from 16 to 32 colour...? It's loverly btw!

What part of "Flurry screensaver for windows" means that this belongs in a forum unrelated to Windows?

lol...

I accidentally discovered that Flurry doesn't work (=1fps) with WinPLOSION (WinEXPOSÉ) running. is that the problem? maybe any similar app (iEX, ...) does the same.

do you have the detonator drivers? and geforce2 is relatively outdated...unless you have a proper video cooling system to overclock and those detonator OR omega drivers...omega is 3rd party but is excellent. i use it

#183872

someone said something bout the dell inspiron, I use that as my laptop, would like the screensaver if poss, but is very slow.

i take it it doesnt work on the inspiron, or is there a fix?
