Lol, just get permission, it's not the end of the world. I'll look around to see if I can find the original artist. Most people I've dealt with say yes

Edit: Ok, after some research it turns out that it is a concept car developed by the Audi company for the movie "I, Robot." Unfortunately that means that the company owns these images, not an individual. I'm not sure what you should do, but you could give e-mail a try. Does the fact that these images aren't owned by an individual change anything? After all, we do put Apple's logo in the middle of every wallpaper...

yeah i kind of thought that the rule was if it is joe schmo's work, you can't rip it without permission, but if it is an actual registered trademarked image/photo from a corporation, rip away.

so in this case, since it's audi's work, rip away.

if nothing else, you should be proud that you at least tagged it properly.
