Themes Being Sold On Ebay

Not sure if anyone here was aware, but some moron was selling everyone else's work on eBay. Check out this thread over at neowin.

This is a snippet of one of his listings:

Since he has been exposed, all the pics from his listings have been removed, but some members have seen their works being sold here, as well as Pixtudio works, not to mention the dock program and whatever other program he had to include to apply the themes, be it StyleXP or WindowBlinds.

So everyone keep your eyes out for the sale of your work, it seems a new low has been born.

I don't know, like I said, all the pics were removed from the server so there's really no way to tell unless someone stumbles across one of these discs or one of the buyers.

I cant believe this. And he STILL has 98% positive feedback!

I've reported him and so have many others but Ebay is doing nothing!

Reminds me when Vodafone was using my OSX.SE theme to help sell their P800/P900 mobile phones. Not only were they leading people on, they REFUSED to accept that I had made it, until I provided proof.

I could've recieved MUCH more than a free year of calls lol.

(note: free year of calls with small text saying "1 hour maximum a day free"

Guys give eBay a break they get thousands of auctions a day they cant leap into immediate action. They are trying thier best but they cant get rid of every auction like this or we'd never see those iPod for $20 scams. They arnt choosing to do nothing just imagine how many E-Mails like this they receive a day. Id rather they got rid of all the people who use eBay to con money and get credit card details.

Yes its not fair but this is eBay people will sell anything, CDs like this are all over eBay fillled with tons of stuff its very unlikely the seller will hold the copyright for it all. The guys obviously seen an oppourtunity to make money out of people who havnt got enough computer knowledge to find them on the internet.....

unfair but it happens :rolleyes: all we can do is report it to eBay...
