I've spliced and combined many icons to get desired results.
I like the result, even if it's not 100% original.

Putting any number of icons together doesn't make the final result yours. I am getting quite sick at the lack of common sense and ethics a lot of the recent members of this community are showing.
Doesn't take much to make an icon? HAVE YOU EVER IN YOUR LIFE TRIED MAKING AN ORIGINAL ICON? If it's to be any good it takes a hell of a lot more effort than it took you to "make" that icon.

seriously, what´s up here? could a mod plz stop this thread, it´s a slap in the face to all "real" icon releasers and graphical artists.
normally my point of view is that in most cases just the result counts, but this here (taking 2 100% finished icons and putting them together in a 1 minute job) is really not the right stuff for the release-section.
no ofense, cyberwoofer, and keep on working with photoshop, but there is no reason to call this one here release. u even don´t touchted any of this icons and just putting them together is even a shame for your photoshop cs. hopefully u´ll find the real power of this tool by trying to come up with some real own work.
aqua-soft staff-team, plz be awar on such things. we have a great quallitiy sandard here, plz keep an eyes on it to keep it up.
and now plz go on and post your "thx" and "great work" and keep confusing me and globox.

Serioulsy dude, calm down. Are you like some major loser that gets all hyped up about an Icon, a single icon. He didn't rip anyone here. Their both Mac icons and yes, he did just stick two of them together. He must have did it and said to himself,"Hey I could use this for an anti-virus program. Let me see if others will use it also." No where did I see Cyberwolf say he is the grandmaster Iconist and everyone shall bow before him.

Nothing I say is personal, I'm just irritated at people who jack other icons and call them their own. He did rip someone: the person who made those two icons. You think they just magically appear at Steve Job's command? He's not that magical...
I made the argument here before that enforcing artist rights here is not valid becuase the artist, themselves, are incriminated when they use Mac resources.
Atlas, most people here believe that Apple is "too big" to care and so when the artist releases something deemed "original" it would be just respectful to ask permission before releasing it to another party.
Aviel is just a happy guy I guess. Can't condemn a man for being happy can we. All we can do is envy.
Leave the rule enforcing to the mods, just PM them. Don't fill a thread wilth flames becuase in due time I will see it and join in on the fire and whoop some doggy ass.
