I have real problems useing black visual styles, such as Jet black.

There are some areas where the fonts cannot be changed from black to another color, which therefore hinders the use of some dark themes.

If you get a shell patch like Flyakite's, the icons will look much smoother and not have the white halo around them on black themes. Unfortunately, like evryone's already said, you can't always fix the black text on black background problem unless you move to windowblinds.
