i hate to say it, but it kind of looks like a shield to me... it looks like it needs a little more depth, kind of looks 2d to me.

Yea they do look like a shield from some video game, Yea try to give them more of a 3D look or unless your trying to go for a 2d kind of style , but once you fix them up a little i am sure they will trun out great

You need the gray vertical lines where every side meets, not just two of them. After that, every side should be shaded seperately. I like the shape itself and the colors, you should just refine the form. Make it look like it has dimension.
