[help] Avatars?

Yeah I've only been posting on the board for around three weeks but I was wondering if anyone could give me a little help in making avatars? How did a lot of people around here get these awesome MSN style avatars? I did mess with Carbonfibers Online Avatar Generator.......but didn't see as many options as I see in looking at some of the avatars around here!

Thanks

Nate Dogg

To get avatars like you see here, you have to add your own pngs to the library. so if you want to wear a dress, you have t find a transparent dress png and save it under the correct folder in your library.

Don't use .PNGs, they don't show up in all browsers and they look wrong in IE. JPG all the way, I think the Hex color code is something like #FAFAFA

IE, what's that? If people deserve to see your avatar correctly, they will already be using Firefox (for XP/Linux) or Safari (for Macs)

Well, almost everyone made his/her own (that is for the better looking ones) but we should really let the fad die! :P

Also, this is not general dicussion. More like iLife.

Out of interest, does anyone realize that IE can display transparent PNG files? It's just that if you apply that option, no other browser can see the image at all. <_

There's a fix for that too.
