whoops! double post!!
you posted 2ice brotha. Anyways, I second Brainbug's request, Paper and Plastic is a very nice theme.
Well I've done OB theme so all I need to do is to ask permission to release it.
I really hope that I'm not too lazy to ask for it ![]()
sounds cool. one question: would it be possible to post it near 100%? i´m askin because of the port like kol´s tiskin. don´t get me wrong. kol did a great job and i love his work, but the windows port looses much of the real effect by cutting the top of every window (if u know what i mean).
dono if it was kol`s wish or if it´s just the way it works with windows themes.

No I don't. Can you explain? ![]()
I am considering moving into the realm of porting... I have nearly finished my nexplorer theme for paper and plastic. I would like to try and get permission to port this to windowblinds. It would not be a msstyle because I use windowblinds. If no one else takes this on I will do it. ![]()

i´m talkin about this effect (left is mac, right is win xp). ah, and i´m not talking about the min, max close buttons, screenshot of win xp was with not active window.

he's talking about the smoothness, i notice it too, in alot of visual styles.
i think all you have to do is set the bg the same color as the bottom gradient.
plus why si it called paper and pastic? looks more like smooth metal
yah it looks much better on the mac version, but the windows VS is still very good (i used it for 3 months straight). Anyways, back on topic, I'd like to see Paper & Plastic ported as a VS too.
sure kol´s port is great. do not missunderstand me here. i´m just curious about it. even when i see kol´s tiAMP skin. seems it is possible, i have not enough knowledge about windows themes.
the reason why i mention here the port of tiskin is, i want to make sure, or better, want to know if it would be possible to port it in a way without the mentioned effect.
again, do not get me wrong, i´m not *****ing or anything in that way. just interested in the possibilities of windows-skinning.

It only looks like that on 'Brushed' windows-- that is a screenshot of a Finder window ![]()
I did a tiSkin version for windowblinds and got denied permission again seems to be an on going thing with me..
Anyways I think mine is more to the original than kols windowblinds theme.. But I did use alot of kols graphics as my base..
I would do paper and plastic for windowblinds but I need permission first im not doing another thing until I recieve permission.. Dont want to make #4

hey Sketching, whats the name of that VS in ur post?
@ ibanezcollector
damn, seing your port makes me say: exactly about this i´m talking about. really a shame u got denied permission.
B²
The post on Sketching's is a VS he made on his own.
I would also do a wb port of it if i find some good screenshots, so far i have not found so many of them. Then i can put the button on the left side instead of right so it can a more real look. I have gotten permission from them earlier to port skins so i might get it again, and even if i do not, i might do it anyway just for my own ![]()
Could someone pack up the mac resources for us to port? I would like to start now that I have some time (when I am not making skins for nexplorer)
Thanks.

right u are, still beta-status.
just wanted to ask if someone would be generally interested in porting it to a win-theme.
so that askin for permission would be never to early.

whohooo!
as brainbug said, now we need someone to port it to Win!!!
PLEASE! ![]()
i`ve been waiting for this sooooo long!
