[help] .dmg To .iso

hey guys, i was wondering if anyone knew a way to convert .dmg files to .iso files without a mac. i was checking out the boards at neowin and someone said they pulled it off by using a nero compilation, but i'm not sure the exact steps i need to take to make this happen. any help that you could provide would be greatly appreaciated!

can u do it with PearPC?

you might want to try renaming the DMG to an ISO..

i tried that, and ISOBuster opens it.. but can't read it (cause DMGs are formated in HFS)

i can't get PearPC to boot, otherwise i'd give you a difinitive answer..

if you can get PearPC to boot.. you'll have access to OS X, and can use the console to do this..

"hdiutil convert cdimage.dmg -format UDTO -o cdimage.iso"

that'll convert the DMG to ISO, and it can be burned in any burning program..

i also believe you can do it using the terminal in linux

As stated in many other threads, there is no real way to convert a DMG to an ISO without a Mac.

Many have tried. To the best of my knowledge, non have succeded.
