By the way, I've seen your media controller on samurize.com and tried it.

It seems (to me) that the script use the refresh.vbs to change the name of the config file in the registry and the restartmediacontroller.vbs to change the .infi file, but I do not see reference to the second script anywhere, so I've to click on the  restartmediacontroller.vbs file to change between config files. Is it what it is supposed to be ??

The refresh.vbs is all that is needed to switch modes, the restartmediacontroller.vbs is actually linked to the shortcut and opnes/closes the instance required for the refresh script.

I know that I'm really bad with documentation (I try honestly ) but start the widget using the generated shortcut or by executing the restart script and click in any of the corners of the rectangle as seen in the gif below to change modes:

Good news, iTunes scripting 60ish% done, need some work on trigger events but seems manageable, foobar config more or less 99% done.

Also, Do I remember someone requesting a feature to display the album art embedded in the mp3? hint hint

Finally found a way. Changed ReloadKey to CTRL+ALT+) instead of

CTRL+ALT+ bracket. The previous yields to an empty reload key when seen in the config program.

Weird ??

ok doen what you said. now i got it half working. winamp and weather seems to work. but the system resource monitor still shows the orange error text.

one more question, where can i put in my weather location ?

use the up and down arrows (at the top and bottom of the widget) until you're at the weather mode and then simply click the large weather image for today and answer all the questions.

One thing though....I have not yet found a way to use the weather widget very well in the UK...is there anyway to find LOC Id's for smaller towns in UK, instead of major cities, that are not even close to me?

I live in Gillingham, Dorset (No, not Gillingham, Kent), but cannot seem to find a LOC close to where I live...

Is there any help out there for me?

Sorry Tadis...one more thing...

The Winamp scroller, which shows what track is currently playing does not work. It looks as though it is dependant on a 'Nowplaying.txt' file, but I do not seem to have that file anywhere on my system.

Could you help me here as well please?

it is described in the readme you need that advanced mirc plugin for winamp which creates that file. the link is somewhere in that readme.

Download and install v1.50 again - the inital v1.50 release had a perfmon bug that was fixed shortly after the release.

That's cuz you haven't configured the perfmon meters to work correctly for your computer. Edit the config in the Samurize config editor, click on the number and click on "Change Counter" under the Source tab.

ah ok now the most things are working thx ! but i have to edit some things with the notepad because i got an error with the config tool .
