Tabs With Objectdock

I'm not sure if anyone has thought of this before, I seached for any posts relating to it and couldn't find any. I have been looking for a good program that would be similar to "Drop Drawers" on the mac, I tried a few like Lauchtab and Cooltabs, but each of them had features that I did not like. So I decided to make my tabs using Objectdock. The tabs were made in Photoshop and by putting the tab all the way to the left of a 128 x 128 png, it makes the tab stays with the side of the desktop,left click and hold on a tab displays a popup menu. You must set the dock to not magnify.

that's a very good use of Objectdock.

I would like to have tabs too because it looks nice and professional.

I don't have objectdock at work and cannot test now but ... I'm not sure there is a way to have more than one instance of Objectdock on the screen.

I would like to keep my actual objectdock config too.

Can someone confirm this ? y'z dock can do it but ... objectdock is my favorite.

If you go into the "Alilm's Apps" forum and look for the threads on "Tabber", it was kind of doing what you want...but looks like work on Tabber v2 has stopped.

Yes I believe tabber is a dead project so this was the easiest way for me to achieve the look and functionalty that I wanted.

Since OD can only run in one instance,

if i use it in a tab mode, i must give up the normal mode.

yes it is a Samurize Config, available here... They are Multi-Tabs which open close on click. It's a Derek creation so if you haver any queries about it, just ask him.
