[help] Y'z Dock Performance Settings...

Hi everybody, I just needed some help to learn how to set up my system so when I play any game, the performance its not affected for having Y'z Dock running...

why? is y'z dock needed when your playin a games? just curious :rolleyes:

Well, it probably because he/she doesn't want it to interfere with game play. Like when you move your cursor that would be over the dock, that it won't pop-up and disrupt the gameplay.

thanks for the quick response on the subject...

wizard noted one of my doubts about this, I just wanted to know if theres a way to setup windows, the games or the dock in a way that I dont have to close it everytime I wanna play. This also happens when I play Quake 3 in a window, I see like a glitch in the bottom of the window the size of the dock.

ohh is that so? hmm just close it for a while

or set the dock on a "dull" mode

then 0 for the dissappear delay time

then put check on "returns a focus to window when mouse leave

how's that?

well i posted this in the moby dock section a while back..

its an app that will close your dock and open your game/app

and once the game is closed it will open the dock for you..

you set the shortcut to the program

and you set the argument to the game/app you want to run..

and for those that think its lazy and pointless..

if you don't like don't use it just because someone does it doesn't mean you have to.

note

the latest version is 0.07 it can also be found on wincustomize.com under the objectdock/docklet section but the forum post has a direct link.. and questions on how to set it up just pm me or post in the thread.

thanks all for your advice, i've tried the settings that anubisx told me, and kinda worked with some games... Quake III worked really fine... and now I'll try this docktool that suggested d-shade... once again, thanks a lot ;):D:D
