Classic Icons

I am making an entire PNG set of classic Icons. The only catch is they are original size. I have edited them pixel-by-pixel (not too hard considering they are like small icons) so that they are transparent.

I realize lots are into the "Aqua" look but if anyone wants the older classic images, let me know. There are about 100-120 Images in total to the set. If anyone wants it, let me know Via PM, and I will e-mail it to you. (It's very small, about 1.4MB, floppy size)

I am still working on the set in my spare time. The only icons left are the Extensions which are hard to edit because of thier unique shapes. But I am hoping to be done in about a week or so.

I am adding to the file resources so if someone wants to make a skin on classic OS they will have everything they need to make that. :lol:

Just a quicknote that the extensions, icons etc are all done.

I am just working on GUI components. Each file I am providing in PNG format because it is the simplest to save as transparent, and PNG offers the best in compression versus quality.

Just a note when people finally get the file, some filenames etc may not make sense, but load up the graphics and examine the windows etc and it will come together. The Classic OS look is very simple and generally not exceeding 256 colors, usually it is around 84-100 colors.

If you have trouble understanding the graphics, take a few graphics and overlay them together and watch untill they overlap into a perfect image....then you can understand how I diced and sliced it. ;-)

Very nice Ciricon! I also adore the old classic look. It's what I grew up with and what I used with my first computer to I am very fond of it. Thanks for your work!
