[help] My Taskbar Icons Won't Show.

Some of my Start Menu icons are not showing. Now I could yet again go to the properties menu and click change icon on every single one of them, save a few that haven't changed. However, this is option isn't avaible for a select few such as my Microsoft Office products. Also, when I restart my comp or switch IP packages it pretty much resets everything. Could anyone gauge what might be happening or what might be causing this to happen?

EDIT Sorry that's my Start Menu not my taskbar. Seph would you be so kind and correct this in title, please. /EDIT

Rebuild your iconcache?

#162067

are you talking about the main icons here, or do you mean as you're scrolling through the start menu, the individual icons for each program? or both?

#162089

@wookie - Both but I'm using the WinXP start menu and I deleted the programs that were pinned to the start menu and repinned them to see if the icons would show up but they didn't.

@frease - If that isn't going to damage my computer how do I do it?

Nope, it won't damage the computer at all so don't worry. Download Tweak UI to do it.

Here's the xp version:

@Frease - That didn't help it at all really. The minute I restarted my comp none of the icons showed up.
