@ Box - I think you still need two CD-Drives for Nero. Correct me if I am wrong.
Nah, I think you did back in the day, but I do it on my laptop all the time.
wouldn't you use an option such as "copy files to hd first" or something to that nature... then i'm thinking it would ask to enter a blank disk.

I think there's a free version of Roxio Easy CD creator that let's you copy cd's.
get cdrecord.
its command line.
is this a data disk or audio? if audio then I have no clue, but for data theres a "readcd" command to rip to an iso image on disk,
then burn that iso image using the cdrecord command.
EAC is great. It'll produce a cd that is the exact audio copy of the one you are copying (EAC).

Don't kill me, but I use My Computer too. I really don't see any point opening up some other fiddly program when I can just click on my Desktop and do it there. I would only really change of any of the other programs offered some serious advantages.

@ Everybody - Anyone who uses the Windows XP as a way to create CD's should be shot in the left foot and the pinky on their right hand need to be sawed off with a Swiss Army Knife and fed to the baby crocodiles at their local zoo. It does a terrible job; too slow, crappy, and it's done by Microsoft. Anything that has "Explorer" in the name has to suck.
I'm using CDburnerXP Pro with no problems on my 1 drive laptop. Free too.
nero. you can use one drive to copy a cd...your cd drive will just make a temporary cd image, then burn it to your cd, then delete it when your done

I downloaded that, but I couldn't find a way to get an image off the disk.
Also, nero isnt free is it?
should be a demo of it for you to use. I know a demo exists. whether you are able to burn with it I am not sure, as I have a registered version. still...can't hurt to check. hit up nero.com for a download or send me a pm and I'll send you a link
yeah i dl'ed it, and its a 30 day trial or sumthin like that
