[help] Uninstall Itunes Plugin

Hey guys,

sorry to post a new thread, but I can't find the original iTunes thread where I downloaded the iTunes plugin to enable control via ObjectDock.

After installing the plugin, every time I shut down iTunes I get an Application Error along the lines "The memory at blabla referenced blabla. The memory could not be 'read'. And this is driving me nuts, I want my iTunes to work.

I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes (even in a different folder), but iTunes still runs with the plugin, hence gives me Application Errors. Can someone tell me, probably the author (is it localhost), how I can uninstall the plugin.

Please help.

Thanks

Welcome to Aqua-Soft!, just two things, please.

1.- This topic belongs in the itunes subforum

2.- Please remember to tag your threads. This is a [Help] Thread.

Have you gone into the "plug-ins" folder inside drive:\program files\itunes and deleted it from there??

Hi, thanks for the welcome,

I checked the itunes folder in my program files. I don't have a plugins folder under itunes, that's the strange thing. The only subfolder I have is CD Configuration.

Does anyone know what localhost's .exe file is doing to my registry, maybe I can delete a key there for the plugin not to run.

Thanks

I got it,

I had to delete the dll in the following folder:

c:\Documents and Settings\MYUSERNAME\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes Plug-ins

Found this in another forum topic.

Thanks anyway, see ya.
