See theres somethign else going on here. OS X is sais (ohhessex), simple as that. The operating system is also refered to as OS 10 (ohhes ten) Kinda like XP is refrenced as both XP and NT 5.1. They refer to exactly the same thing, but are two diffrent ways of refrencing if.

I actually prefer to say mac os ten, but I always come up with X, which gets me into a mess when I try to add which os, say jaguar or panther.

In fact, I get mad when I add "mac os" or either one to the definitions, cause its a too much of an annoyance. Its like saying microsoft XP professional each time.

So I think the code names also confuse.

I say, numbers are the best :rock: :woot:

Easy to know what version you talk about, what platform, what computer, and what industry.

I actually just say 10 - because people who actually care what I'm talking about (when the subject is mac's) will know what I'm on about - saying os ex or os ten to someone else doesnt matter - they will be just as clueless either way!
