[help] Yzdock Can't Change Icons

I really don't know if I should be asking things like this regarding Yzdock on this forum. So admins just close this thread before people start ranting on me. :rant:

Anyways, I have Yz Dock 0.83 and for a while now I can't seem to change the icons (pngs) anymore. Whenever I right click on a png and then properties, and then change icon, it gives me error.

"YzDock.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

and then closes down.

Can anyone help me with this. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling and what not. I've even used the so called copied version "Aqua Dock" and it still gives me the same problem which is quite strange because they are supposedly different programs.

by the way Yz Dock 0.602 has no such issues.

by the way, aqua dock is a rip of y'z dock. it's not a different program, and it is considered warez. talking about it is prohibited.

It is not prohibited, but it is usually stopped as it only leads to people linking to Yzdock or aqua dock....

:D Thanks a lot. The first of those two links worked perfectly for me. Yeah, I recently installed style xp 2.0 and had the inco pack installed and then went back to default icons. That's when yzdock started acting funny.

By the way. Is it safe to use style xp 2.0 icon packs. Just wondering.

no problem. i don't use stylexp (i use the free patch), so i don't know. you can use iconphile instead: http://www.virtualplastic.net/scrow/iphile.html

i suppose it's safe to use the iconpacks. probably just a special archive of normal ico files.
