I've tried all three and find that Mobydock works best for me. I like that is isn't stardock
and that it interacts. I do look forward to further develpments tho ![]()

I myself don't care what company makes something as long as it's good. And I'm torn a little between Y'z Dock and Objectdock. I'm a little more liking Y'z Dock right now though cause of the docklets, the speed, and accuracy.
I've just converted to Y'z. But I'll prolly switch back to OD due to the fact that it's really fast on my computer.
My favorite is Y'z. But too slow for my crappy puter... ![]()
Cheers
OD is the best! I love the task manager feature, and it's very fast in my PC. Yz Dock and MobyDock don't look as cool as this one...
I'm Y'z all the way. Its not even funny how accurate this baby is
It runs so perfect on my computer. And Y'z does so many updates so quickly, I couldnt imagine using any other dock. I was using OD for a while, but its not as acurate and as fast for my likings.
I will reconsider each dock as they lead into the DX9 era. ![]()
I love all the docks, all are spectacular pieces of work.
does Y'z Dock have autohide features? or hide features?

Yes it does
It's hard to say wich is my favorite since all of them have some neat features of their own. I would have to pick ObjectDock though cause it has the most accurate magnification effect, the icon bouncing is fast and you can manage running task and run programs from it even if they are already open.

I dare to differ. I am on a mac right now and I tell ya Yz has the PERFECT mag effect.
Im using OD, but im starting to like Yz, if Yz had a taskbar and if it was a bit faster I would switch to Yz.
I hate the fact that the Trash and folders cant go to the right of the dock in OD. It just kills the OSX look.

Back in the day I tried Mobydock and didn't like it. Then I tried Y'z dock and liked it but it was a bit too slow. Then I tried ObjectDock and was all happy. As of the current versions of all the docks I think I like Y'z feature set the best but it's still toooo slooooow. On my laptop I got a framerate of 5fps when I ran the benchmark. On the same machine ObjectDock flows like water.
Damn I'm impressed with Mr. Yamaguchi's work...0.5 runs as smooth as ObjectDock 0.86 on my computer (which is not really a good computer.....check out the specs below)
So right now I don't mind using either of em. The only thing I find apart from a missing taskbar in Y'z is that Y'z seems to eat more resources during idle time.
I can illustrate this using Quake 3 Arena. Try running Quake 3 Arena with Y'z running in the background. The framerate will be choppy. However with ObjectDock it is absolutely smooth..no choppiness whatsoever. God knows why..![]()

I think Yz is the best for now. It really fast on my PC, respond quickly after idle time. Previously I use OD, but the fact that it do not exactly act like a shortcut (IE prob) make me convert to Yz. Still looking forward for more updates of all the docks...

ObjectDock runs best for me. I have a AMD Duron with 800 MHz and 512 MB SD-Ram. All other Docks are terrible slow on my PC...
So long,
Cassiel
I still like OD best, it's fast, simple and works how I like it. Once the DX9 stuff comes out I'll re-evaluate but for now I'll stay with OD.
Yz all the way, for the same reasons as Bill
Moby Dock all the way. I dont know about older comps but Ive got 1.8 ghz and mobydock has the most accurate zooming effect. Object dock sucks on my comp
OD works best for me. Doesn't slow down even with an animated desktop. Yz flickers most of the time and is slow and Moby crashes on all 3 xp computers I have tried.
I love Yz's clock and right-click options though.
I use Object Dock. This might sound wierd, but Y'z is too fast on my machine. Even when I lower its priority, its too fast for me too enjoy the beautiful Icons, and it kindof makes me sick. Object Dock lets me change the speed, and I like that.
its better to have a poll than counting posts- Abbra cadabra kamahameha * poooof! * ![]()
and oh yeah, i voted for YZ.
come on you guys, bring it on - just 9 people voted on this poll?
i think i voted a while back already... but i voted again, just in case i actually didnt.. um is that even possible? who knows.... anyhow, I've been using OD for a while now... YZ wiggs out and moves in slow mo cuz my system is way too OLD SCHOOL. But ya, OD for me. ![]()

Unfortunately, I clicked on view results first so now I couldn't put my vote in.
