InProcServer32----(Deauflt)----REG-EXPAND_SZ-----%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll

delete "%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll"

OK?

Besides means :

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{5b4dae26-b807-11d0-9815-00c04fd91972}\InProcServer32]

@=hex(2):00,00

"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"

Copy and Save As NoMenu.reg

Afterwards the form is registered in the gather

Enjoy It!

Undertaker, I am confused.

What is it exactly that your .reg file does?

Does it "move" all standard menu items, i.e. "File, view, tools" etc in say Ie or MS Word, into the program titlebar? If so that would be interesting.

Please clarify.

Hi,

I'd like to know *exactly* what those registry modifications accomplish also.

Please clarify.

Thanks in advance,

Ok I think I figured out the procedure although I have no idea what it does...

First open regedit

Go to this key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{5b4dae26-b807-11d0-9815-00c04fd91972}\InProcServer32

In the right panel you should see a string called Default with the value %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll

Double click on default and clear this value which will be in a box..

Close regedit.

Now download this file

http://www.geocities.com/sid1231983/nomenu.zip

(drag this link to your address bar)

This zip file contains a .reg file called NoMenu.reg

Double click on it to update your registry.

If someone could please try it out and let me know what it does....that would be great...:)

I updated registry with this NoMenu.reg and it removes File, Edit, View ... Help from Internet Explorer, nothing else.

#12776

Is it still accesible using keyboard shortcuts like "Alt + F"....?

Siddharth

#12780

Nop, they are not accesible by using keyboard shortcuts.

#12786

Hmmm...that's bad. It means you lose the complete functionality of those menus...
