[help]thunderbird 0.6

For some reason I can't connect to my incoming server mail.comcast.net in 0.6 but I can in 0.5. Checked the settings and everything is cool. Anyone know why this is happening?

Maybe 5.0 and 6.0 are conflicting with each other.

Try unistalling 5.0 and removing all of its registry entires and then reinstall 6.0 and see if that works.

I didn't have this problem upgrading, although 0.6 was notorious for not remebering my mail settings.. I had to backup my mail and news folders, remove the existing profile, re-create the profile, and restore my old mail and news folders before it started working right.. maybe that's what you need to do?
