i'm currently dlding lh 4074, and as you may know it is to big for 1 cd, i dont have a dvd burner, or player for that matter on my pc.
What I was wondering was if you could use an ipod in place of a dvd to do a fresh install of longhorn
EX. you start the comp with the ipod pluged in and it installs right off the ipod just like it would a cd
no, the ipod needs windows to sync the 'pod
Nope!
Unless you uninstall your iPod software and use it's drive as if it was a regualr drive.
The iPod isn't bootable. 
If you are not an official alpha tester for Longhorn, this is Warez talk and should be closed.
