3+ Years And Going Strong

You know... There's always something, isn't there, that just when you're at your lowest on the forums, thinking "what's the point? All people seem to do is have stupid, pointless conversations and flamewars", that can pick you right back up and completely restore faith. And I agree entirely... We all need to be gratefull to those who came before us, and not just that, but those who spend their time and energy on the community now being mods and news posters (Contra, Seph et al.) These guys, no matter how much one or two of them can get under our skins from time to time, spend their time to keep this place going, with no reward other than personal satisfaction... They deserve our thanks too :)

@Deej: Thank you for the kind words... i am just a n00b mod anyway... can't be compared with some of the aqua elite -_-, but trust me, we are doing our best and we will continue to do so. I think i speak for all of the mods/admins/newsposters when i say that comments like these make our jobs worthwhile :cheers: to Aqua-soft.

Duckie you have done alot for this community but what do you expect a medal? This type of community just wants and wants your not gonna get alot back sad to say. I'm sorry, but you go off if someone does not mention your name in any post.

Great speech DZ...this place is definately a place of history, and we're all living proof. Hell, I look back at posts of mine over a year ago and am amazed with how far we've come :)

Thanks to the mods and admins (tim, etc) that have made this place great. That and to Duckie as well for constantly pushing the envelope of creativity and encouraging the new things we see now

I think you'll see if you read the post properly that I actually said "those who came before us"... The names were not intended to indicate the soul people we should feel apreciative towards... Merely an indication of some of the people who spend their time and energy to help further this community. And the "no matter how much some can get under our skins" comment could apply to many people... I know I have had many a time when i have been annoyed at Contra's style of moderation, but i respect him and thank him for his hard work because i am gratefull nonetheless... Please, don't get a bee in your bonnet and turn this from a remarkably positive thread to some battle which would be unpleasant and unnecessary.

Thus, to make you happy... I directly thank you, Duckie, and Goku, and Timmie, and Pe7er, and everyone else I can't remember at the moment cause I am tired and need some sleep but thought i would take the time to come and explain that it's everone we should be grateful to, and that includes you, Duckie... Even though you don't seem to be able to see that that is what i meant.
