ok, you dont give much info.
what is the site for? what do you want on it?
surely you create the layout around the content, not the other way?
seems very odd, as the webmaster, this is the kinda thing you can control, if you want replys, post a post that people are likely to have answers to.
as for choosing the forum - most people view recent posts from all forums, anyway, if you want assistance from people who know how to design websites, this is the best section for you.
How about a large logo or graphic? I wouldn't put text there, unless it's something really small. I'll post more ideas later...

Ok, the web site is for my internet language class (html,xml,javascript,etc) Personal Website .
I know so far my web site its the best with artwork but I do not want to put alot of things in it, I want something nice, something you don't see it every where

You should do a nice logo, and put it there instead. :canadian:
Well that's what I think is best. Then agian it's your site and if you think a FLY
is better than a LOGO than go ahead and use it.
ya, babypapichulo right the FLY not good but its your site and you know what you want.

I want to know if I can use PNGs image because I'm trying to put a PNG in my site but it give me a black background ? <_
Are you using that POS IE browser?
I'm using IE . my problem is the empty space in the image will be black when I run the html.
First off ditch IE and get Firefox or something, IE is bad for your health, and wats worse, good for Gate's health, second, about the Logo, youve been PM'd.
Also if you made the PNG urself make sure when you saved or exported it that you choose Transparent background. kind of a **** question but it happens.
But when making websites, always remember that a massiev proportion of the web uses IE, so like it or not, you should cater for them. Be careful with the PNG files in other words!
