It's funny staff around here scream to certain people that they shouldn't advertise, websites, programs, and products, that they made or provide them selfs...

But ive noticed that they allow certain people / pets. in a matter of way to advertise their websites, products, and programs they make all the time.

The question is are they targeting people, or just don't alow it to those who they don't like?

I really don't care, im here to learn, but you really do have to ask your self this question. Are we the victoms of predi, or the victoms of a community ran by people who need to amuse them selfs?

What are you talking about, give some examples. What isnt allowed here, is advertising programs from which you are profiting, same goes for the websites.

Wrong forum too... this goes in comments and suggestions.

I think it depends what websites, programs and products are advertised. Did the people own the website, created the program or do the for example just advertise windows xp (seen no one doing this but it was the first that came to my mind - really scary ).

And if in doubt the owner of the website/forum desides which content he allows. At least thats what i recognizes in some boards.

The best for instance i can provide to you would be that some post(s) are deleted by the end of the day. And always removed by the same staff member, and almost always the same staff member removes posts made by those he disslikes, or just doesn't care for. No reason behind it all, just does it. For his own amuse ment.

My own for instance, I started a thread in genral dissucsion on graduation songs and how they effect our lives not that long ago, it was removed by the same staff member that told me not to advertise other websites, even tho it's been done by many member here. That makes no sence, I think he's picking on me just because im new. Ive rarely made any posts here, and im just been reading and observing. Ive seen many other threads totally off-topic in genral dissucsion all the time, and there was no point in him deleteing my thread.

There's a music thread in genral dissucion rite now, for cryin out loud.

And as for advertising other websites i was just putting a link to some great aqua RELATED content, but aparently that's not acceptable here...

look, post the links to what is there that does not comply with the rules, prove your point please, im going to look through the deleted posts to see what i find with your username... i did not recall any graduation song thread...

You are accosiong of favoritism, and of mods deleting stuff for theitr own amusement, these are serious acusations, if this happens, we need to know, but prove it please. Show us the exact cases where this has happened.

EDIT: I searched throught he trash can and deleted posts... i could not fin any post with you on it.

i have just done a search for all your posts zandor and see nothing relating to music . the staff here never (atleast shouldnt) use the delete function, we always (are meant to) move the topics out of the public's reach, just incase a situation like this arrises. also if a post contains banned content the post is EDITED and the staff members makes it know. so i find it hard to believe what your saying is accurit.

none the less, please tell us whom is causing you this trouble. timan can always check the logs to confirm your allogations.

The rule is you don't make a POST advertising your website, unless it's aqua/computer/mac related. If you post about viagra or something, it's spamming.

You are free to advertise sites in your SIGNATURE. There's a difference.

Zandor, can you please explain to us, what the situation was? what did you write, what happened to your thread and who did it. Please, if you only post this we can't do anything, we have looked though the trashcan and dleted posts with no results for your name.
