Now i have added lots of mods to itunes, and its nothing short of completly screwed, Ive uninstalled and reinstalled and the mods are still there, ive deleted the files in my documents, and there are none left that i can see on my hdd, although i dont know where most of the itunes files are kept if there in a different place than the itunes folder,
THe mods make the music skip like i was out of resources and the buttons are now on the left , screwing all the menu's

The plugin's are stored in the iTunes directory (default C:\Program Files\iTunes) in the Plug-in's folder. Is that what you are asking? I read it kinda fast.

Yeah, go to the root iTunes directory, not the My Documents folder.
you sure its the mods that are making it skip? did you maybe reinstall itunes 4.5 with the latest quicktime and had the settings on the waveout automatically revert to the other option (Cant remember now, the only thing i remember is that you're supposed to use soundOUT).

Whats quite strange is ive uninstalled it various different times and different ways, but still the buttons are on the left hand side of the itunes window and its screwing up, its a mod i installed, but theres no plugins folder in my
C:\Program Files\iTunes folder .......its getting annoying now as i love itunes yet i cant work out how the mods still effecting it

You probably have a duplicate copy of the plugin in this folder...
c:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes Plug-ins.

Well at least tell us what the problem was...<_
Never actually managed to delete the mod, its embedded itself somewhere other than the ITUNES directorys , i right clicked the taskbar right at the top of itunes and clicked options, then unticked Skin Itunes
And the buttons on the left went away brining my menu's back, although theres still the problem of skipping
I cant work it out, normally its when i minimize and maximize a window or start a application but it can also just happen randomly, just incase your wondering ive got
1gb of Ram with 500mbish left, so it cant be that
and my cpu useage is never really over 23% max
im quite pickled, minimize stutter , maximize stutter, leave it a while and it randomly stutters
Annoying as hell
for me at least the local host plugin file nevershows up in the plugins folder when I install it. To uninstall it I have to run the installer again try running the installer again and see what hapens.
