i think i will release it when i'm able to found a maccish skin also for invision that now it's using the default skin.

Cause there's not any release of phpnuke with invision powerboard in, and as you may know there're a lot of files to mod, so I prefer to release not as a theme

You can find also an online preview on my site, but that is in some way just a little bit old 2 hours of work has been done.

excellent work it looks :woot: THe only suggestion I would make is maybe change the labels to blue or chage the label style. The red seems too harsh to me.

Its just a shame most of us wont see the Administration Panel it looks beautiful

Then you need NBS Designz (nbsdesignz.com) they have a panther style skin available that matches your site.

Php-Nuke is a Content Management System, is all website, with an easy way to publish news, stories and thing like this, you can ahve also a professional management for links and downloas.It's based on php: very flexible and overall open source, if you need any information try http://phpnuke.org

Invision Poer board, is a forum like this one, nothing other to say.

I will not release the theme itself, cause to aplly this theme you will have to modify some files, and i want to make thing easier as possible.

As I say before i will release it not as a theme, cause i iwll integrate invision as board and not phpbb, which is the default one.

Now i'm trying to make a theme also for ipb, this will probably take me sometimes, cause this is my first time on skinning, an propably i will ask Timan some help.

If i have some times and if i find some good hostihng i will upload a complete site based on my nuke for a demo.

Well yes where Invisionboard is concerned its trial based, theres different licences you can buy for it though. But people generally use it on trial based normally Sort of offtopic but relavant to the board and site your making, a good place to go for theme and hacks is http://www.ibplanet.com/

@NBS designz they do some nice skins too, but the good ones including the panther theme, requires a $1 donation to get it. - they have free aqua based skins in the free section though, so if you downloaded a free skin based on aqua - it would not be too hard to edit the images in the theme and convert the theme to a panther style theme for your boards.

Yeah they have beautiful skin, but now i got some problem with integration of ipb, cause i want to load as module, but it's just a little bit difficult

now i have to remake the integration form the start, cause i need it as module and not as separate thing, so it's inserted inside nuke.

I don't want to pay the skin, cause if i pay it i cannot free redistribuite the whole pack, but i have to ask 1$, is it clear it's not for the cost of the skin, and probably i will byuy it for my site, but not for the redistribuition, so i wil mod the free one.

Before all i'll have to integrate ipb as module.

See what you mean. I over looked that fact on redistribution. Also - I read you were looking at doing an IPDL version. Well thing is, IPDL just pulls the skins from the IPB Skin templates anyway, its not a seperate module. Its integrated into IPB It makes it easier switching between skins this way.

All you actually need to do for that part is create a IPB Skin template. IPDL will automatically pull the theme from the database when you switch.

I have been looking at Nuke Portals, as you sparked my interest in them, with your theme. I have to say I am shocked at the lack of decent free themes. Most commercial ones dont look that great either ! (JMO) - Yours is pretty cool in comparison to be honest

Your theme if you distributed it as a full Nuke theme with PHPBB integrated as it would be would cause less hassle, and PHPBB is easier to use than IPB anyway

Think you could make money from your project anyway, its one of the BETTER more interesting Nuke themes I have seen this weekend

The problem now is not related to skin now, before i prefer to do a good integration, as you know phpbb is a good board, but doesn't have good themes as ipb has, but i have some troubles, cause I want my header, the one with the site name and all the icons to appear before ipb board, there's the possibilities to do this using a frame, but i don't like it, i would like that ipb is FULL integrated in nuke and that act like a module, for the moment i was able to integrate users.

I'm not interested on making money form the project, and i will release it as opensource, so anyone who wants can improve it.

I had some good news and also some very bad news.

The bad news are, that I cannot redistribuite a modded invision board, after all the works i read the license agreement :rant: :rant: :rant: I will release it with phpbb

The good news are that I finaly was able to integrate an irc chat

and that i'm doing a good work with phpbb theme.

So the relase date is coming faster then what i think If have no problem during the week-end i will finish the skin for phpbb, i want to tell that I apply various hack to phpbb, some of minor choice, some very good.

I hope you don't think like these people :
