How Do They Do This

:rant: :rolleyes: It's been a long time that i wasnted to show this site

I Have always wondered how they do this They are so great with compressing all this data in just a siple executable. I just want to know how the hell they do this please respond anyone?

well what the do is make all the stuff the when making the program..

they use a methord to generate the info on the fly.

ie if it was a 3d game it would know how to make the models and texture as the game runs.. in stead of using ones that already excisted. :P

Yepers they make them on the fly, ie they might have a mathmatical equation that would generate the surface of lets say a person, then have another mathmatical equation to generate that persons textures. So what might have taken 5 megs in another game takes up two equations. Very ineficient as far as CPU usage goes tho. Still impresive tho.

:blink: Incredible....I've just finished playing this fpp shooter that looks better than Quake 3 (almost as good as Doom3 in fact) and has 96 kilobytes! I need some rest.
