The ichat thing is made by samurize , it's my config and i'm working on.
When it has a white roundeled rectangle , it's when the contact is connected.
As you can see , it's the trillian plugin.

I just use a plugin call "sammiranda", which can use samurize to show the contact list and status of miranda. And then mod by myself to make it look like a real mac software .

I would like this Samurize config as well because I've tried everything with the actual Miranda app to make it look transparent and nothing works. PM me or e-mail me @: hax0r_foX@hotmail.com

I'm trying to optimize it beacause it takes 20% of cpu and trillian 50% , go in the beta smaurize forums to see what i mean.

The Config is not completely finish, and it is only look good but useless. Hope there are some samurize's master can improve it.
I have released the config file. Go to "samurize" to check it out.
