not sure if someone else posted this here, if they did i missed it
heres a direct quote from the creator named max_naylor:
"I am developing a new app called AppleSim. It simulates but not emulates Panther. Basically it is a GUI composed of images to look like Panther. My ultimate goal is to create a functioning app, but I don't know any programming languages (although I plan to start learning). So for the moment, its basically a load of images that you can click on, but I'm getting there. I am using a multimedia authoring app called Multimedia Builder 4.9.5, hence the limited commands and the message at the bottom of the screen. I would like to convert to C++ or VisualBasic soon to make a better, more functional version.
I will upload (hopefully) later on tonight a beta version of the System Preferences app, you should be able to download it here:
http://www.freewebs.com/applesim/sysprefspanther.zip
If you go to the URL http://www.freewebs.com/applesim, it tells you a bit about the app that I made to simulate Jaguar, which I gave up on a few weeks ago to work on a Panther version.
Please reply back and tell me what you think."
i tried it out,(after dling it for an hour, and i have cable :6 ). and it looks really promising. u just have to remember that its a BETA.
