[ann]systemprefs Panther Beta

heres a direct quote from the creator named max_naylor:

"I am developing a new app called AppleSim. It simulates but not emulates Panther. Basically it is a GUI composed of images to look like Panther. My ultimate goal is to create a functioning app, but I don't know any programming languages (although I plan to start learning). So for the moment, its basically a load of images that you can click on, but I'm getting there. I am using a multimedia authoring app called Multimedia Builder 4.9.5, hence the limited commands and the message at the bottom of the screen. I would like to convert to C++ or VisualBasic soon to make a better, more functional version.

I will upload (hopefully) later on tonight a beta version of the System Preferences app, you should be able to download it here:

i tried it out,(after dling it for an hour,and i have cable :6 ). and it looks really promising. u just have to remember that its a BETA.

ok here are some screens as promised.

the first shows the app kind of minimized, to illustrate how it works. it functions ontop of the desktop, with its own startbar (finder bar/whatever) and dock, and wallpaper.

in this screen u can see how it accurately emulates the real osx systemprefs, and how its not just an image with shortcuts.

in this last one i wanted to show the transition from one option to the next.
