How To Restore Windows System Sounds?

Hello

I've tried Iceman's Jaguar Skin and it carries its own sounds, and cursor set. When I change the theme back to WindowsXP-Luna it retains the sounds of Jaguar and the cursor set from Jaguar, and the system icon sets from Jaguar.

1. I've repaired the cursor set by moving Iceman's Jaguar theme to a different place

2. Repaired the icon set by re-initializing the system icon set to default one by one.

3. Repaired the cursor set by re-booting

Where is the option to change the system sounds to XP default?

Iceman's Jaguar Theme is a persistant little fellow.

it is very easy (assuming you are using xp), go to sound and audio device properties in control panel. click the second tab titled Sounds on the top. choose windows default from the sound scheme drop-down.

should be able to fix it. let me know if it does not and be as detailed as you can on the errors' messages.

Where do I put my own system sounds if I want to make one?

1) Open Sounds and Audio Devices in Control Panel.

2) On the Sounds tab, in the Program events list, assign a sound for each event you want to save in a new sound scheme.

3)Under Sound scheme, click Save As.

4)In the Save Scheme As dialog box, type a name for the new sound scheme.

5)The new scheme is displayed in the Sound scheme box.

* To open Sounds and Audio Devices, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Sounds and Audio Devices.

* To delete a sound scheme, select it from the Sound scheme box, and then click Delete.
