After 7 years PC users, I switch to MAC. I already receive my 23' HD cimena display, and still waiting for my G5 dual 2Ghz.
Since the first mac os X I was in love with aqua. Until now I get upset and tired of those ugly fonts in the gelly button on WB or MStyle ports. So I decide on month ago to switch. Hope I'll enjoy mac world. Sure I won't forget aqua-soft where I got so much sources to customize my windows.

I'm never getting a Mac. I love Windows, but I hate it's GUI. So I make it look like OS X. Call me crazy but my sister is getting a 12in powerbook this year hopefully in summer. If I like it then I'll get it. I must be brain dead cause my first PC was a Mac then I switched to Windows. I'm never going back. I like the fact that XP is always telling you stuff.( like It's hiding inactive icons) Cause it makes me feel like my pc is more interactive. Last time I had a Mac was in 1998. Maybe things changed. I'll find out in the summer. Until then I'll be kickn it with my gaming rig. Windows just has better hardware in my opion.

Hmm...what exactly do you mean?
Well to some people it bothers them.
I mean all those meesages that appear in tooltips and dialogs.
For example when you install somethin in the start menu a liitle tooltip will appear saying "New Programs Have Been Installed" or when you first install Windows It'll ask you something like "Do you want to see Windows XP Walkthrough" you know that little interactive demo thing. Theres lots more but thats one of the thing that makes Windows stand apart from all the other OS's. Maybe it's just me but I simply love Windows and I'm gonna stick with it. And Windows is also more User Friendly (I've heard).

I wouldn't know how it feels to dump 5 grand into a computer as that's not what I paid or what they cost unless you just click buy on something and never look for a way to get it cheaper.

23 inch = 1799.00
no tax as well I have a resale number and 300 dollar mail in rebate (500 hundred if you don't do the student pricing, btw I'm not a student when you buy both from apple at same time.
Also apple offers 180 days right now no payments or interest. Then after that you have 4 years on the apple instant loan at like 30 bucks a month. Finally, a big portion of that cost was recouped by me selling all my pc gear plus a 21 inch monitor and 5.1 speakers on ebay It's really not hard to get into a mac if you want one.
Mac's are like ferraris expensive for the first time but easy to replace/get the latest after that becuase they have way better resale value than pcs.
Perfect example. Before I made this plunge I purchased a imac G3 400 mhz on ebay for 270 bucks plus shipping as a test to see if I'd really like osx on a regular use basis. Took me about a day to see that I not only loved it but found it annoying to use windows after that and that it is way superior to xp as an operating system in everyway. I then put an extra stick of ram I had lying around into the imac and installed panther on it and resold it for 431 including shipping on ebay btw that g3 400 mhz ran panther snappy which was a surprise to me. Itunes opened as fast as it did on my p4 3 gig and for everyday use (video and audio work excluded) it was very acceptable.
