Oh! I see! You write by the sound meaning phonetically.
But there is no standarized way to write that way, because if one was from France, or England, they would attempt to write or spell based on English and French sounds which would be different from somebody from Spain, Portugal,Italy Norway, or Germany. You should be able to make 90% plus of what they write but it would look funny. It is still comprehensible. How many keys in a Hewrew keyboard that are distinct characters if they make one?
It must be very tough for anybody that comes from a non-western European country to use a standard western keyboard and map their own characters and combinations of characters. I though Yiddish was developed based on languages from Eastern Europe + Hebrew = Bulgaria, Yugoslavia,Hungary,Poland, some German etc.
