[bug]labels Disappear After Explorer Crashes

I have 8 AveDesk icons set to Desktop Icon. When explorer.exe crashes and restarts, the AveDesk icons disappear, so I have to close Avedesk from the System tray and reload the program. When I do so, the icons show up, but the labels are gone. I have to go into each Desklet's settings and re-enter the shortcut name, because it was erased.

System specs:

1.2 GHz Pentium III-m

512MB PC133 RAM

WindowsXP SP1

Other Aqua-like programs I run:

ObjectBar

ObjectDock

WindowBlinds

WindowFX

LogonStudio

Virtual OS Boot Loader

be sure to have saved your configuration.

I tried to close Explorer and rerun it and everything is OK but i'm not with a 1.0, the bug (if there is) is fixed in the 1.1 version :)

just be sure that your config is well saved before, and it might be OK

Thanks man (Y), you actually made me aware of a serious bug.

The desklets / icons from AveDesk are actually 'owned' by explorer.exe, if they are set as 'desktop icon'-style. When explorer.exe crashes, these icons are also destroyed.

When you close AveDesk the normal way, it tries to read the Label from the icons, but they are destroyed since explorer.exe crashed. AveDesk now saves an empty label.

Workaround

When explorer.exe crashes, don't close AveDesk the normal way, but bring up the taskmanager and kill avedesk.exe.
