Windows Server 2003 Modding

I recently installed Server 2003 (cause its just blistering fast) and noticed alot of things are disabled or different from XP, i have sound, DX9, and all that stuff on it (contrary to belief you can play games with it) so its now at a state where its just a fast version of XP, but only thing i cant get those loading screens to go away, im talking about the ones that have the Server 2003 sign, its shaped in about a banner size and it says loading, (no i dont mean the bootscreen) and then it goes to say press ctrl alt delete to start, and then it goes to the login screen, even tho i have no Users added, other than Administrator,

i want to disable those three things and just skip straight to windows, cause i have Tom's wonderful boot loader app installed and its killing the effect of a good OSX booting look,

also i want to disable wen you press ctrl alt delete in windows it exits the desktop and just shows a shutdown menu, and then the option to choose the taskmanager.

Also if anyone has any other Server2003 file mods then post em here, maybe this could be like a Server2003 official mod thread or sumthin.

Good questions and sensible ones too for a change.

I think you can force Windows 2003 Server to use the XP style Welcome screen logon effect through Group Policy.

Go to Start -> Run -> gpedit.msc

You can configure a whole bunch of settings thru the GP Editor. In your case you have just one account (Administrator)....not advisable for security reasons but that's for another topic.....So you should edit the policies under 'Computer Configuration' not 'User Configuration' to set system-wide policy changes.

Take a look under logon to see if some setting can enable the Welcome screen. There probably is an option to set the get rid of the 'Ctrl+Alt+Del' box too. Can't check right now coz I'm at work. I'll be installing Windows 2003 today evening coz I have time to play with it over the weekend and I'll keep you updated if I find any file mods etc.
