Aquamail

I was just wondering about Aquamail. When I start it up, I get some error, unfortunatly, the Splash screen covers it up, so I dont know what it says. Anyway, Is Aquamail a front for another program (and which one) or is it a full on client. If it is, what types of Accounts can you set up, POP3 im assuming. Sorry, but it always freezes for me, so I want to know if I should bother trying to fix it.

EDIT- I just started using Mozillas Mail with aquaMOZ, it looks great, and version 1.3 has Junk Mail Filtering like Macs program. Very cool.

Yeah, id love a little explanation from Jef on whether its a front or full on client. All his other apps are so perfect (Im easy to please), Id like to get this one working too.

Dont forget you need chalkamail (not sure of spelling) installed, as i had same error..

AquaMail is a full POP3 client. I utilize a set of controls developed by Matt Fausey at Chilkat (www.chilkatsoft.com).

My app got a little out of sync with Matt's controls. I've got AquaMail working pretty well now. I use it as my primary mail client at work.

I downloaded Chilkamail and it all works fine. Now that I can actually see the program, its a marvelous piece of work.

You should tell people that you need chilkamail, so ignorant people like me dont end up looking stupider.
