[help] Trillian, Changing Avatars

is there a posibiliy to put there custom avatars in the place of the msn icons?? :blink:

You can change those icons, they are located in the buddy.bmp bitmap, just open it up in your prefered image editor and change the parts you want to change via good ol' cut & paste.

iStatic , you´re asking about replace those icons for avatars. But every icons will change to every single avatar from each contact.

That´s imposible. The only avatars you can use on Trillian are on chat window

PS: I´ve told you that on MSN !

i think its posible i saw a screenshot, it was defenitly a windows shot and it had avatars in the place of those icons :blink:

To have individual Avatar for every partner (buddy)???

No that can't with Trillian. That can't be done.

If you saw one..was surely iChat ifself.

This same question was asked a lot on trillian boards. And trillian doesn't support that yet.

You do can change them. But change one. all the others will be that same one.

You can't have a different avatar for different ppl.

You can only change the individual avatars on CHAT WINDOWS . Not on Buddy List. I´ve talk with Danimator. He tried this a lot of time, but Trillian can´t do that.

The Windows Screenshot you´ve saw is one that changes the MSN icon for some other. But every MSN contact will have the new icon. You can chage it for everything you want, but every MSN icon will be always the same.

Believe, I knew iChat for trillian before it came out, I knew Danimator was working on it. He wanted help on that, I even offered him help. I know about this. Because since ppl wnated to make iChat wanted to try that.

And About Gaim. ..Gaim does that. I'm using Gaim (but only does it with AIM mostly).....

dunno, lemme check real quick...

i dont know, i only have a few people i talk to on msn, and either they dont have icons, or it doesnt work for msn. I do not have the newest version though. and i'm too lazy to download and install it. check it out, gaim's a great app. It used to be a little buggy, but still a good app.
