Windows Media Files And Phoenix.

anyonw knows how to get phoenix to play the windows media files? videos and such? every time I click on 1 I get the ASCII display of the binary.

I have the same problem with .rar and .png and a few others. For those I can right click and download it. Or just let the binary page load (for a small file) and "save the page as", and it saves the file as .png or .rar.

Another work around is to set GetRight to monitor .wma, .mov, .mpg, ect, and highlight the file, right click it, select copy, and GetRight will pop up to download it. Then you can play the file from your hard drive.

I wish someone would post the correct way to solve these problems also.

I dont think it might be able to play this files in the browser, you might want to try drag and dropping a file in the browser window, if it plays. Then, associate it to open the files. For media player files. I have the same problem that it sometimes doesnt download some files, and that other times, it wants to download a dll, like when i browse hotmail.
