What the code to add Windows 2000 to the boot ini to run it i have 2 hard drives the first has 2 partitions the main one is the XP and the next is a exttra partition and the second drive is just one partition and that has windows 2000 on it.
Modifying The Boot.ini
I'm not exactly sure what the code is, but if you boot the computer with the XP disk in it and go into the recovery console, I'm pretty sure there is an option in there to have it search for other Windows installations on drives. That might work. I'd give it a try but I'm just feeling pretty lazy at the moment.
Here's how I did it.
Install 2k from cd but have your xp cd and or files handy
after you boot you won't be able to use xp immedietly though you'll see it available as an option. Once 2k is up and running, all you must do is find 2 files on the xp cd: ntldr & Ntdetect.com and overwrite those copies on the windows2k boot partition.
After that you'll be able to use both oses.
Hope all goes well
I got it working using the recovery console now im trying to get icemans icons set backup on my xp and i cant get it to completley change it. and im having problems with objectbar now.
