[help] Initiating Screensaver

I was wondering does anyone know what or how to initiate the screensaver with a shortcut, or link to a prog. so I can start it when I want to instead of waiting for my delay to kick it?? I would appreciate anyone with a map or directions to the correct answer ?!?

Thanks.

just like right click in explorer, create shortcut, then find the file ^_^ . For a dock you could just drag it down in there :D .

Is there anyway to use a hotkey instead of a shortcut?

Simply create the shortcut, hit properties on the shortcut and choose your own hotkey! Voila.

You might wanna place this shortcut on your desktop for the hotkey to work.

By the way, if that doesn't work for the particular screensaver you're using (some open the config page by default), just add a space and then "/s" (no quotes) after the screensaver filename.

You guys just resurrected a seven month old thread :).

I feel so happy that the thread I started is still ALIVE !!!

Quote from the forum rules:

"For example, reviving a month-old topic to inform the author of your appreciation is frowned upon - send them a private message; reviving a month-old topic to inform other members that you have found a solution to the problem being discussed, however, is acceptable. "

And you're happy

:)

Well, sounds to me like we're all satisfied. Let's leave this thread a desolate wasteland again.
