[req] Power Docklet Icons

I'm posting this request in a few places, I'm hoping to get as much response to this as I can; I guess it can be considered a form-letter...

I've been checking out this forum a lot recently, and I hope one of you graphics gurus might be willing to whip up a set (or sets) of alternative power icons for the Power docklet--for objectdock, in my case.

I've been trying out different icon packages in my dock, but it annoys me that I don't have any options with this docklet, in terms of alternative styles (the only other one I've seen is for the Eylo theme)...

An isometric 9-volt battery type look would be nice to have (maybe with a dark outline to match BeOS/GANT themes), but having no expertise in these graphic software packages, I figured I'd put out an open request here.

However, I thought it would be interesting to put it in an isometric view (with the terminals up) as I said above.

And as far as the design, I came up with an idea. Instead of having the whole battery show the power level, put a tall "window" in the smaller side; then, on the larger side it could show the status (plugged in, charging) as appropriate, as if it was the actual battery label.

Once again, I only wish I had the graphics art skills I see around here. Half the stuff released by guys who say it took them five minutes just floors me. I hope to see this released sometime--I'd be very very happy to see it happen!

Well, upon closer inspection Lou's set isn't quite complete, and he's not interested in finishing it. I guess I'll call it dead in the water.

I figure there's not much interest in this because not everyone uses a laptop, but it's an incredibly useful dock function and I was hoping to see some new styles.

If anyone decides to whip up these icons, I'd like to point out that I like what Lou did, but I was hoping for the battery to be turned a little, so that the side is showing with the power level there. The front would be blank unless its showing a charging/Charged/NA label...

As far as the black color goes, it matches a lot of the new dark themes pretty well, but I was thinking of a brushed nickel look; multiple color themes?

I hope someone announces a new set/s of power icons in the future whether its Enhanced or whomever, and I'll let this rest for now unless there are new replies...
