Just Got A G4 Tibook

I bought a g4 667 TiBook VGA (1st Mac laptop) from a guy on the web for $80, (it wasn't stolen, trust me). But here's the sort of part....

1. The screen and hinges were broken. (Fixed it myself for $130, the screen not the hinges).

2. No keyboard, drives or battery. Though he left the airport card in.

Now this is the part where this wonderful community comes in; :rock:

I need tips on how to fix the hinges or places to get replacement ones, compatible keyboards, drive and battery (other than ebay).

Anything will do, websites, hints, places to get this parts, etc. I live in california, if that helps.

Also, since most of us here aren't millionaires, CHEAP will be the watchword.

and your shure it wasnt stolen??? Persionaly i would say screw it, and use it as a desktop with a cheap VGA monitor (i think you can do that cant you?)

yeah, could, but what the hell. taking this sucka apart and putting it back together is pretty exciting.

guy showed me receipts and his name matched.
