[help] How Do I Protect An Mp3 File?

i know this may seem like a stupid request to some...but is there any software i can run my mp3 files through that will either convert them to something else, or add protection to them so that they can not be played on another cpu. i dont'; care if someone burns a cd then rips them... i jsut want to prevent stright copying and pasting the files from one hard drive to another.

any takers?

MP3 can't have DRM. I hear they're creating it now though.

The only other option I can think of is WMA, but that's not tied the to CPU, it's tied to "licenses". So you'd have to create a license for the song (which users would then need), and I think that costs money (pay MS).

Is there a reason you want to add DRM to your music? Really, it just turns people off.
