[help] Litestep And Avedesk

When I switch my shell from explorer to Litestep,

avedesk desklets like powdermount, mountchecker still work, but they only open

explorer windows without WB visual style... Anyone knows how to solve this?

I'm using LS installer 3.02 with WB 4.2, and I think I've got the latest Desklets

I think this is a known WB problem.

When an app launches another app differently than explorer does,

WB may be incapable of hooking the newly spawned process.

example:

In VC6, launch your debuggee with ctrl+f5.

The devs of mountchecker and powdermount may consider using the

ShellExecuteEx() API instead of CreateProcess().

Another possible explanation is that Explorer takes too long to load when it is not the shell. WB waits a while if the new process creates a window to hook it and waits too short.

I used the combination of WB, LS and OD half a year ago with no problems but never started litestep since I have AveDesk.
