i was wondering if someone could turn this into a samurize program?? also, im running a hp laptop, and when i look on my battery, no matter what % im on, it says i have 6 hrs 28 min left, which is bs cause it only lasts an hr 
anyone know why it does this or know how i could change it to be the actual time?

Uhm... I might have what you're looking for, actually. I was fooling around with Samurize and ripping graphics, and this happened to be one of the ones I did.
Caveat: I never figured out how to get the remaining time to display for a battery (I couldn't find which meter in the WMI list it was). And I couldn't get the exact text display, because Samurize does something weird to the font smoothing at runtime (looks fine under config mode though).
I wonder if I should release this. I have a few other Konfabulator widgets I ported for fun and learning and personal use... so I wouldn't have the original author(s)' permission to distribute.
I could PM it to you if you'd like?
Could one of the moderators let me know what the forum's stance is on releasing ported widgets, without permission I mean. I read somewhere that the Konfabulator guys are refusing to give their permission for any Windows ports of their widgets...

Our stance is simple: you cannot release things without permission. But AFAIK Konfabulator guys aren't refusing - it's just a little bit difficult to contact them - in most cases you have to ask on their forum, which is a bit dead, thus you have to wait.
the forum stance is fairly simple on this matter. all releases without a written permission from the author are considered ripps and therefore not tolerated. So if you don`t have permission from Arlo (and i`m guessing u don`t since he refuses all requests for permission) u shouldn`t release the ported widgets.
i hope admins and mods won`t mind me acting as a member of the staff :6

The primary reason for the Konfab guys denying people permission to port widgets is likely because they're developing Konfabulator for Windows right now.
Why not just make the widget for Samurize but make it look different? ie. use different graphics, change the text a bit etc?
